1. Marina Bay Waterfront
Frequent fireworks-seekers will know if this popular spot. Right in front of the reservoir, you’ll get a good view of the fireworks against the backdrop of our iconic landmarks – the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay.

2. The Lawn @ Marina Bay
Join in the bustle at After Hours @ The Lawn this year-end at Marina Bay, where there will be a mini NYE event held over 30 and 31 December. Expect little F&B booths, games, and performances. Remember to bring your own picnic mat to sit out and wait for the fireworks!

3. Helix Bridge
Yet another popular spot in town, Helix Bridge will also give you a good view of the fireworks. While there aren’t seats for you, it’ll be a rather romantic walk as you witness the skies light up along the Bay.

4. Marina Barrage
For families who enjoy a laid-back countdown, here’s another spot where you can lay out a picnic mat in anticipation for the fireworks. With Satay by the Bay only 7 minutes away, you can indulge in your favourite hawker affair as you watch the fireworks go off in true-blue Singaporean style.

5. Gardens by the Bay
To admire the skyline as fireworks go up on full display, head up to GBTB’s Observation Deck for a full pararoma view of the city.
Alternatively, Bay East Garden also offers stunning views of the fireworks. What’s even better? There’ll be free Garden Rhapsody shows at 7.45pm and 8.45pm to amp up the anticipation of welcoming 2023.

6. Mount Faber Peak
Looking for a little adventure? Opt for a hike up Mount Faber Peak with your kids to catch the fireworks in full splendour. However, if you’re cautious about its dimness during the evening, we suggest taking the two-way cable car ride which takes you across the Sentosa-Mount Faber line.
There’s Arbora Hilltop Garden to chill out and kill some time!

7. Esplanade Rooftop Terrace
While we know Merlion Park may offer stunning views, the Esplanade Rooftop Terrace can also give you a splendid view of the city’s skylines. Best part? It’s a little more obscure – so hopefully, you won’t have to jostle with the rest.

8. Tampines Hub
Tampines Hub does not disappoint when it comes to its festivities. This New Year, Easties can come together to celebrate ‘Countdown to Magical Moments 2023’ with a performances, festivities, and of course – fireworks.

9. Bedok Reservoir
To catch the fireworks going off at Tampines Hub, head over to Bedok Reservoir to catch the show in action. Now refurbished, you can take a stroll along its boardwalk and enjoy the hip F&B spots in the area before midnight strikes.

10. Jurong Lake Gardens
A tranquil dwelling spot, Jurong Lake Gardens offers a breathtaking landscape overlooking residential areas of the West. Netizens have advised that Clusia Cove would be a decent spot to watch New Year fireworks 2022.

11. Boon Lay (Jurong Central Park)
Connected to Jurong Lake Gardens, this park located closer to Boon Lay also allows you a view of the fireworks from its open fields.

12. Tiong Bahru (Skyville @ Dawson)
Considering that Tiong Bahru is pretty much town-ish, it is no surprise you might find a landmark to watch New Year fireworks 2022.
We suggest going up to Skyville @ Dawson on the 47th floor before midnight to snag a spot for the NYE countdown. Even without the fireworks, you’d already be in love with the scenery from up there!

Those seeking out for obscure firework spots earlier this year during NDP recommended Woodlands Townpark East. They liked this hidden gem for its high vantage point of 30m, with a short hike this this hilltop to catch a clear view of the fireworks.

14. Bishan (Open Field next to Junction 8)
During the past few years, the open field next to Bishan’s Junction 8 has been a consistent spot for NYE and NDP fireworks. We are guessing that those festivities will not be different this year!
