With less than 2 weeks to go, 2023’s just around the corner for us. While it may be a jittery feeling welcoming yet another new year, it’s always good to know you have steadfast company to do it with.

To ring in New Year with a blast, here’s a list of free places to watch New Year Fireworks 2022 in Singapore. Whether is it in the heartlands or in town, these spots are sure to leave your kiddos wide-eyed, excited.

1. Marina Bay Waterfront

Frequent fireworks-seekers will know if this popular spot. Right in front of the reservoir, you’ll get a good view of the fireworks against the backdrop of our iconic landmarks – the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay.

2. The Lawn @ Marina Bay

Join in the bustle at After Hours @ The Lawn this year-end at Marina Bay, where there will be a mini NYE event held over 30 and 31 December. Expect little F&B booths, games, and performances. Remember to bring your own picnic mat to sit out and wait for the fireworks!

3. Helix Bridge

Yet another popular spot in town, Helix Bridge will also give you a good view of the fireworks. While there aren’t seats for you, it’ll be a rather romantic walk as you witness the skies light up along the Bay.

For families who enjoy a laid-back countdown, here’s another spot where you can lay out a picnic mat in anticipation for the fireworks. With Satay by the Bay only 7 minutes away, you can indulge in your favourite hawker affair as you watch the fireworks go off in true-blue Singaporean style.

To admire the skyline as fireworks go up on full display, head up to GBTB’s Observation Deck for a full pararoma view of the city.

Alternatively, Bay East Garden also offers stunning views of the fireworks. What’s even better? There’ll be free Garden Rhapsody shows at 7.45pm and 8.45pm to amp up the anticipation of welcoming 2023.

To catch the fireworks going off at Tampines Hub, head over to Bedok Reservoir to catch the show in action. Now refurbished, you can take a stroll along its boardwalk and enjoy the hip F&B spots in the area before midnight strikes.
