Christmas Wonderland is back again in Singapore! From 3 Dec 2021 to 2 Jan 2022, Gardens by the Bay will be transformed into a magical place with huge light structures, a Christmas market, a carnival and more! There’s lots to see and do, and this will be a wonderful place to bring the kids for a great Christmas experience. When Is Christmas Wonderland Singapore?
This year, Christmas Wonderland 2021 is happening from 3 Dec 2021 to 2 Jan 2022. When purchasing your tickets, you’ll able to pick from 4 different timings of 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm. Last entry will be at 10pm, and Christmas Wonderland 2021 will close at 11pm daily.
What To Do In Christmas Wonderland Singapore
There’s lots of sights to see, and fun activities for both parents and kids at this year’s Christmas Wonderland. The main highlights will be the 9 spectacular light displays which will surely make for some memorable Christmas photos! There’s also carnival games, a lights and sound show and even a Christmas market called the Mistletoe Alley Market to grab some last-minute Christmas gifts. Let’s go through each of the attractions!
9 Spectacular Light Displays, The Highlight of Christmas Wonderland 2021
Probably the first thing that will capture the attention of your kids, is the beautiful 20.5m tall Spallieria, inspired by the glass windows and panels of Europe’s Gothic churches. This light structure is approximately a whopping 7 storeys-high so be sure to take a few photos here!
Another highlight will be the Walk Of Stars, which is a 44m long light tunnel with thousands of star-shaped LED lights.
And don’t miss the Enchanted Bridge too! This 30m long and 7.7m tall light structure was carefully constructed with over 100,000 LED lights and is another attraction that you must snap some pictures with.
Immerse In The Christmas Spirit At The Garden Rhapsody Light & Sound Show
This is an event that you’ll only get to experience during this time of the year! Garden Rhapsody is a signature event of Gardens By The Bay, where the lights on the Supertrees dance to popular Christmas tunes. The entire show is led by Adrian Tan, who’s an award-winning Lighting Designer and Bang Wenfu, one of Singapore’s top music composers.
Garden Rhapsody will only happen 4 times each evening – 1 per time slot so be sure to make your way when it’s time!
Visit The Christmas Carnival And Go For A Ride On A Hand-Painted Venetian Carousel!
There will be a Christmas carnival in Christmas Wonderland too, where the entire family can try their hand at classic games such as Blockbuster, bowling and dart-throwing! And to top this experience off, you’ll also find a 2-storey Venetian Carousel which was hand-painted and put together by skilled craftsmen in Europe.
To ride the carousel, you’ll need to pre-order tickets here. Tickets are $10 per person, and $5 for each adult accompanying a child.
Pick Up Some Unique Christmas Gifts At The Mistletoe Alley Market
The Mistletoe Alley Market is a great place for you to pick up some last minute Christmas gifts! There are multiple stalls here selling all kinds of goodies. You might be interested in visiting Goodwood Park Hotel’s stall to purchase one of their Christmas Fruit Cakes. Or if you’re looking for some goods from DFS without going all the way to the airport, you can check out their stall too for some luxury goods.
The photo booth is also a staple at every year’s Christmas Wonderland, so remember to drop by to take some fun photos for memories!
Grab Dinner Or A Quick Snack At ELFresco
Spending the evening at Christmas Wonderland will surely work up an appetite, so you can settle your meals at ELFresco where some of Singapore’s trendiest dining establishments have pop-up stalls. There’s plenty of tables for you to enjoy your food at too, but do remember that only 5 pax can be seated per table.
There’s lots of options for the kids too, such as personal-sized pizzas, lobster spam rolls, churros and more! And for the parents, you can also enjoy some special Christmas beer brews here.

It’s highly recommended that you take public transport to Christmas Wonderland at Gardens By The Bay, as parking may be limited. Hence, we’ll just go through the public transport options available.
How to get to Christmas Wonderland Singapore By MRT
The nearest MRT station is Bayfront MRT Station. Once you alight, take Exit B and simply follow the underground linkway.
How to get to Christmas Wonderland Singapore By Bus
If you want to take a bus, the best way would be to take an MRT to Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. Once there, take Exit C and look for the bus stop at International Plaza then take bus 400.
How To Get Tickets To Christmas Wonderland Singapore
In previous years, there were ticketing booths to purchase your tickets for entry. However, take not that this year there will not be any ticketing booths at the venue so you must purchase your tickets online.
