Before you rely on this

A timer, not medical monitoring. “Apart” is timed from the start of one contraction to the start of the next, and the headline averages the last hour. A contraction left running for over 10 minutes is not counted as a length. The hospital words are each hospital’s own, copied on . Your doctor may tell you something different for your pregnancy: follow them. The log stays in this browser on this device.

Common questions

How do I time contractions?

Tap “Contraction started” when one begins and “Contraction ended” when it eases. How far apart they are is timed from the start of one to the start of the next.

When should I go to the hospital?

Follow your own hospital’s words, shown here once you pick it, and what your doctor told you. KKH and NUH list regular contractions 5 to 15 minutes apart as a sign of labour. SGH’s example is contractions every 10-15 minutes lasting more than 2 hours.
