Why you can rely on our guides
Version 3, dated 22 October 2026. Parents make big decisions with little time. Every RaisingAngels.sg guide, tool and printable is written to give you a clear next step you can check for yourself.
Official sources, dated
Rules, subsidies, fees and dates come from the agencies that set them, such as MSF, ECDA, MOE, MOH, MOM, IRAS, CPF Board and LifeSG. Each guide and tool lists its sources and the date we last checked them. Updated is when the page last changed; Facts checked on is when we last checked its rules and figures. We recheck at the start of each year, after each Budget, each April for P1 registration, and whenever an agency announces a change.
How guides are written
Guides are researched by the RaisingAngels.sg team and checked line by line against the sources listed on the page. Estimates are labelled as estimates and, where they matter, you can change them in the tool.
Health content
Our guides about health, growth, milestones and vaccinations have not yet been reviewed by a clinician, and each one says so near the top. We are arranging a clinical review; a reviewer’s name appears on a guide only after they have reviewed it. Until then, check anything about your child’s health with your doctor or the Child Health Booklet. Health tools never diagnose or grade a child; they point you to your child’s Health Booklet and your doctor.
Neutral about providers
We do not rank preschools, enrichment centres, clinics or insurers. We show facts, sources and checked dates. A paid partner is labelled, and payment never changes a result, a ranking, a fact or what we say about a provider. What other parents say is summarised in our own words and includes complaints.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, tell us on the contact form with the page and the issue. We fix confirmed errors promptly and note significant corrections on the page.
